The stakes rise as a party member is kidnapped, sucked in and cocooned in their own nightmare in the Ethereal Plane, beginning to undergo a dark metamorphosis. In their quest to save them, the adventures must combat fearsome fey creatures, face twisted phantasms, forge unlikely alliances, and find the hidden entrance to Durmir’s location on the Ethereal plane, before their friend is forever transformed into a sentient doll, trapped into servitude and terror for all eternity as fuel to feed Durmir’s everpresent hunger for the psychic energy of fear.
